The Wolverines and Spartans both received bids to the NCAA Men’s College Basketball tournament that begins this week.
The #3 seed Spartans will meet #14 seed Valparaiso on Thursday, March 21st at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Game time is TBA.
MSU has made 26 tournament appearances and 8 final fours. With Sunday’s bid, MSU head coach Tom Izzo has now led the Spartans to 16 consecutive NCAA Tournaments.
Michigan, a #4 seed in the South Region, will also play at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Thursday. Game time is TBA.
The Wolverines will meet #13 South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits finished the season 25-9, 13-3 in the Summit Conference.
