GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) has served the state for 17 years.
Saturday, the Foundation celebrated it’s 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Ball. It’s a black-tie fundraising event held at the Thousand Oaks Golf Club.
It featured entertainment, food and beverages, live music, dancing, a silent auction, and an after party.
Organizers said, “You can be assured that the money raised is making a proven difference. We have served over 100,000 people in West Michigan through our many programs and patient services and were able to educate thousands more on how to keep their kidneys healthy and prevent kidney disease.”
