BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Police are continuing to search for the missing Big Rapids man.
Fred Byrne went missing the day before Valentine’s Day.
He was last seen at his mother’s house near Holland. Shortly after he disappeared his car was found in Missouri near the Mark Twain National Forest.
His car has been brought backt o Michigan to be analyzed for evidence, while authorities search the national forest
They’ve used bloodhounds and helicopters, but so far, there’s been no sign of Byrne.
Detectives spoke with Byrne’s family. They say there’s no connection between Byrne and the missing Holland woman, Emily Van Dykes.
