GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A man was arrested in Grand Rapids Monday nearly one year after he allegedly robbed an elderly woman in Van Buren County, according to Michigan State Police.
The incident happened on March 21, 2012, when Eric Jerald Cornell, 26, allegedly forced his way into an 85-year-old woman’s home in Bloomingdale Township. Police said the man tied the woman up and stole several items from the home.
Cornell, also from Bloomingdale Township, was arraigned on Tuesday.
