GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One of two national tickets winning $250,000 in Friday’s Mega Millions Lottery jackpot was purchased in Grand Rapids.
According to the Mega Millions Lottery, nobody matched all six numbers in Friday’s drawing and just two people matched all five white balls but missed the gold Mega Ball number — thereby winning $250,000 each. Those two were from Michigan and New York.
According to the Michigan Lottery, the winning Michigan ticket was sold at the D&W store at 1830 Breton Road SE in Grand Rapids.
The white balls drawn Friday included 1, 30, 32, 40 and 41. The gold Mega Ball number was 17.
