ANN ARBOR, Mich — Police at the University of Michigan issued a crime alert this week after reports of students being drugged.

The alert says, “In recent months, there have been anonymous or unconfirmed second-hand reports of students’ drinks being spiked by other people.” The most recent incident involves a student who says she may have drugged when she was at a party on Friday. The woman said she drank several drinks given to her while at an off-campus fraternity party. Then, she vomited and blacked out.

The police remind you to be aware of your surroundings and trust your intuition. Don’t accept drinks from people you don’t know.
