81 Marijuana Plants Seized From Home

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. – Officials have seized 81 marijuana plants from a grow operation in Van Buren County.

On Thursday, Jan. 24, narcotics detectives from Van Buren County, Berrien County and agents from the FBI executed a search warrant at a residence where they believed a drug growing operation was taking place. Inside, they found four separate growing locations throughout the home and the garage.

A total of 81 marijuana plants were seized. Several pounds of finished marijuana, two guns, scales, packaging materials and paperwork were also seized from the home.

Officials also found $800 of U.S. currency, which they seized under the civil forfeiture act.

No arrests have been made.
