Madonna, Back to the Future, Nike Hi-Tops, shoulder pads and cassette tapes.
Those were all popular things in 1985 – the last time the Michigan Wolverines started the basketball season 16-0.
Tonight, the Wolverines matched that record after a win over Nebraska 62-47. The Wolverines only led by five at the half, but a pair of big dunks from Glenn Robinson III helped push Michigan to the win.
Robinson had 14 points. Trey Burke led Michigan with 18.
The 16-0 Wolverines improve to 3-0 in the Big Ten.
Michigan can top its 1985-86 start if the Wolverines can beat #15 Ohio State in Columbus on Sunday.
