PAW PAW, Mich. – Four people were arrested Thursday morning during a meth bust.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office put a home located in the 38000 block of Paw Paw Road under surveillance after receiving a tip that a 52-year-old man purchased products used in the manufacturing of meth.
Officials were at the house when the suspect’s vehicle entered the driveway. Inside the vehicle was the 52-year-old man, along with another male, 22, and two females ages 30 and 24. When checking out the vehicle police found enough evidence to search the home of the suspects.
Inside the home deputies found paraphernalia, chemicals and other products used for smoking meth.
Three of the suspects were taken into police custody and lodged at the Van Buren County Jail on meth charges. The 24-year-old female was taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail for violating her probation. She was released Thursday and does not face any drug related charges.
The 52-year-old who police received the tip on was arrested back in October on a different meth charge.
