GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., — Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids will get a special visitor on Dec. 24 to spread holiday cheer.
Shari Duthler will bring her golden retriever Charley, a therapy dog, to visit with pediatric and adult patients.
Charley has been a therapy dog since 2008 and the day will not only be special for the patients, but Charley as well, because Christmas Eve marks his fifth birthday.
Charley will arrive at Mary Free Bed at noon.
