KALAMAZOO, Mich.–Two Kalamazoo men were arrested in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday.
The suspects who were detained by police on Dec. 18, are believed to be responsible for two different crimes that occurred in Kalamazoo.
Clarence Edward Ross Jr., 31, of Kalamazoo, allegedly shot and killed Jheryl Wright on Sept. 30, 2012.
Just three hours before the incident, another attempted murder took place in Kalamazoo, that allegedly involved Duncan Eric Williams Jr., 30, also of Kalamazoo. Williams is charged with assault with intent to murder, for a shooting that happened on Dutton Street.
A hearing is being held in Atlanta regarding both suspects extradition back to Kalamazoo.
Police are still investigating.
