A 32-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times late Friday night.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said it happened at around 11:40 p.m. in the 4000 block of 144th Avenue in Park Township.
Police say an argument between roommates turned violent when one of them stabbed the victim several times in the chest and neck.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police say another roommate suffered minor injuries while trying to break up the fight.
The victim was taken to Holland Community Hospital and later flown to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids.
Police say the suspect is a 17-year-old and was taken into custody early Saturday.
The suspect is expected be arraigned in court Monday.
