ALLENDALE, Mich – Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a wrong way crash that left a man seriously injured early Friday morning.
The crash happened around 2:25 a.m. after a 42-year-old woman who was traveling the wrong way in the eastbound lane of M-45 (Lake Michigan Drive NW), just east of 48th Avenue, struck a vehicle head on.
Daniel Gibson, 29, was driving his vehicle when he was side swiped by the woman. Gibson sustained head and back injuries and is currently listed in serious condition at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
The woman has not been arraigned, the investigation is ongoing.
