WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Weather Ready Meteorologist Colton Cichoracki: West Michigan saw a very cool start to the work week with temperatures in the 40s and 50s to start Monday. This led to another Fall-like day but Summer weather will soon return. The forecast for tonight is chilly once again. Lows are in the 40s and 50s. Some patchy fog could develop by morning. Tuesday will then be a fantastic day but warmer. Mostly sunny skies are coming with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Our next rain chance will arrive by Wednesday as a cold front comes into the area. This will lead to scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could be strong and the Storm Prediction Center has the area highlighted in a level one marginal risk for severe weather. The main threats are damaging winds and hail. This storm chance diminishes Wednesday night and we will be dry for the rest of the week. More unsettled weather is possible by Sunday into next week.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy with chance P.M. scattered showers/storms. Some could be strong/severe. Highs around 80 and a bit humid.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of scattered showers/storms. Highs around 80 and a bit humid.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 80.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy with highs around 80. Chance showers/storms late.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with chance showers. Highs near 80 degrees.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy with chance showers. Highs in the lower 80s.
