Grand Rapids' record was set in 1965, while the record in Holland has stood since 1946.
Rain and snow from Saturday's system is expected to taper off as the night progresses, creating slick driving conditions as temps drop. Sunday should see a dusting of snow, while Monday's commute is expected to include some flurries.
Expect delays and watch out for black ice as drivers hit the roads.
