Shots fall in the second half as Calvin beats Hope

Knights connect on 9-18 from 3 in the 2nd half

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After a poor shooting first half, Calvin shot lights-out in the final 20 minutes on their way to a 75-62 win over Hope on Wednesday.

The Knights made just 8-29 field goals in the first half before connecting on 16-29 in the second half, scoring 51 points in the final 20 minutes.

Junior Thad Shymanski lead all scorers with 25 points, hitting 5-6 3-point field goals in the second half.

Preston Granger lead the Flying Dutchmen with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Calvin hosts Trine on Saturday, Hope will host Adrian.
