ALLENDALE, Mich. — The Grand Valley State men's basketball team hit a season high 16 threes in an 86-74 win over Saginaw Valley State on Thursday night.

The 18th ranked Lakers hit five triples in the final 5:45 of the first half to turn a nine-point deficit into a 39-32 halftime lead.

Jeremiah Ferguson scored 17 points and dished out eight assists.
