ALLENDALE, Mich. — Jake Van Tubbergen (21 points), Isaac Gassman (18), Jeremiah Fergueson (15), Christian Negron (13) and Ben Lubitz (12) all reached double figures in scoring as Grand Valley State beat Wayne State, 83-70, Thursday night.

The Lakers (12-2, 19-3) maintain a one game lead in the overall GLIAC standings over Ferris State.
