BIG RAPIDS, Mich. — The Ferris State men's basketball team is off to a 10-1 start.
"Last year I think we peaked a little early," junior forward Michael Peterson said. I just think we are trying to find a place we are comfortable with at the end of the season that we know we reached our potential and our goals.'
The Bulldogs open GLIAC play Thursday by hosting Wayne State.
"We just want to learn every day," senior point guard D`Angelo Hughes said. "Get better every day. Learn from our mistakes and keep the positives going and just keep going as a team."
The conference opener will be Ferris State's 9th game of a 10-game home stand.
"We are teaching them about that process and how to attack life from a winner`s standpoint," seventh year head coach Andy Bronkema said. "Doing what winners do every day and take the result. That is what we are preaching here and we are going to believe that and hopefully it results in a few more wins and it has.'
