GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Union will travel to Muskegon to open OK Black in boys and girls basketball Friday night.

For the Red Hawk boys, they have lost 18 straight games to Muskegon since the Big Reds joined the OK Black seven years ago.

"I don't take moral victories, we don't take moral victories," 8th year Union head coach Brandoen Guyton said. "I told them whatever has happened in the past, that is the past, this is a new group so my guys are just excited to get on the floor. In order to be the best you got to beat the best."

Union (5-0) is off to a great start to the season, but the team says the aren't doing anything special to get ready for this one.

"No not really we are just focused on ourself," senior guard Danyel Bibbs said. "Just make sure that everybody else is picking everybody up and just keep grinding it out."

"It is a pretty big game," senior forward Damarieon Milton added. "We are really excited. We are just ready to see what we can do."
