HOLLAND, Mich. — Hudsonville never trailed in Tuesday's four point win at West Ottawa, but the Eagles were tied in the final minute but showed composure to win and improve to 10-0 on the season.

"It is a big thing because we know the further we get into the season the more important the games get," Hudsonville head coach Eric Elliott said. "The tighter they are going to get and we have to have composure. It is a big deal, a road win, a win in the Red is important but to beat a West Ottawa at home when they are playing well, it's a big deal."

Hudsonville now has a two game lead over West Ottawa and Rockford in the OK Red standings.

"It is big for our ego," senior point guard Max Perez said. "Keep ahead of the conference, top dog right now, sole possesion, we can't get too ahead of ourselves we got to take one day at a time and just not look ahead."
