More flights planned for Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — After months of reduced air traffic, passenger flights are being added to the schedule at Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport.

“The airlines are returning seats to those markets that have a healthy demand for service – Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and SW Michigan has that demand. If our community continues to fly local, the airlines will continue to support us,” said airport director Craig Williams in a release.

After July 4, Delta Air Lines will add flights to three times a day, and American Airlines will offer more flights on peak days, to twice a day to Chicago O’Hare.

Delta:

  • Three departures a day to Detroit: 6:05 a.m., 12:22 p.m., 5:17 p.m.
  • One departure a day to Minneapolis/St. Paul: 4:15 p.m.

American:

  • One daily departure to Chicago O’Hare: 12:30 p.m.
  • One departure to Chicago O’Hare: on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays: 7:39 p.m.
