WEST MICHIGAN — Several well known West Michigan companies are available for over-the-phone interviews by way of the West Michigan Works! Virtual Job Fair, set for May 20 and 21.
Registration is the week before, starting Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15.
According to Kiosha Jeltema of West Michigan Works, this type of job fair would normally be held at their facility and different service centers throughout their seven county region, where job seekers and hiring companies could meet face to face.
“Job seekers have the opportunity to sign up for 15-minute phone calls to speak directly with hiring managers, talk about their qualifications and hear more information about the position,” Jeltema told Fox 17.
Jeltema also explained that job seekers can sign up for as many of those interview slots as they desire, and it’s all no charge.
More than 35 companies have signed up to participate, which includes Hastings Manufacturing, Perrigo, Hope Network, Fifth-Third, Metro-Health and Amazon just to name a few.
