Zeeland East Football cancels remainder of season

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Zeeland East High School has announced the cancellation of its football program for the rest of the season.

The Zeeland East High School Athletics Administration informed parents in an email on Wednesday that the Ottawa County Department of Public Health recommended quarantining all varsity members after players were potentially exposed to COVID-19 last week.

The team was scheduled to play against Holland this Saturday.

Details regarding the quarantine will be delivered at a later time by the OCDPH, the school says.
