DECATUR TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian Monday night in Van Buren County.
The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. on 39th Street near Burgess Road in Decatur Township.
Authorities say the vehicle was heading north on 39th Street when 33-year-old Devin Mattis was hit in the roadway. Investigators are still working to determine why he was in the road.
The crash is still under investigation.
