ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A driver died in a crash Sunday night on Alpine Avenue near 8 Mile Road.
A 36-year-old woman from Comstock Park was headed south when her vehicle crossed the median, rolled over, then was hit by another vehicle headed north, according to Michigan State Police.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the northbound vehicle was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by state police.
