A silent climb, in remembrance of the victims of 9/11, is set for Saturday morning at Waldo Stadium on Western Michigan University's campus.

More than 2,000 steps make up the full climb— 110 flights of stairs.

It's $25 to register. $11 of every ticket purchased for the event goes toward multiple funds to support both active-duty service members, veterans, and their dependents.

It's WMU's biggest community fundraiser for The Office of the Military and Veterans Affairs. Last year, they raised around $2,000 for scholarships and an emergency relief fund.
