LANSING, Mich. — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is scheduled to present her third State of the State address later this month.
The address, which is planned to be held virtually, will take place Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m., according to the Michigan Executive Office of the Governor.
“Under normal circumstances, Governor Whitmer would request the House Chambers to deliver the State of the State Address to a joint session,” the governor’s office wrote in a press release. “However, given the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, these are extraordinary times that require innovative ways of doing things to ensure safety.”
