GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Holland man was sentenced to over 19 years in prison for organizing a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.
Matthew Boeve, 30, was sentenced to 235 months in federal prison for conspiring to distribute meth and 10 years for aiding and abetting obstruction of justice. He will serve the sentences concurrently.
Boeve pleaded guilty in September to distributing 500 grams or more of meth and interfering with the prosecution of the conspiracy by publicizing the names or witnesses in the case.
Federal prosecutors say he also ordered others to public lists of witness names and photographs of police reports on Facebook while he was waiting for his trial.
One of the posts caused one witness to call law enforcement out of fear of retaliation.
