ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Eight cows were wandering on Chicago Drive near 76th Avenue in Ottawa County when a vehicle struck and killed three of them.
The incident took place around 3:30 a.m. Friday, says the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
While the vehicle took significant damage, the driver was unhurt.
Chicago Drive was closed at the scene while the crash and cows were cleared.
The remaining cows were taken back to a nearby farm they had originally wandered away from.
