GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An 8 year-old girl was hit by a car when she ran ahead of her family on a walk.
The Jenison-area family was crossing 28th Avenue to get to Dale Wagner Park when the crash happened. Ottawa County Sheriff's Deputies tell FOX 17 there was no time for the driver to avoid hitting the girl.
The girl was taken to DeVos Children's Hospital for treatment. Her condition was not released.
