LAKETON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 15-year-old from Muskegon County was missing for more than a week before Michigan State Police announced he was found safe.
The teen had last been seen on June 25, leaving a home on Delz Drive across from Reeths-Puffer Middle School. On Monday, July 7, state police said he'd been found safe.
FOX 17 removed the teen's image and name from this article per our station policy to not cause future harm to people who went missing as a child.
State police credited tips from the community with leading to finding the teen. Investigators warned that anyone who knowingly helps a runaway teen hide from authorities could face criminal charges.
