MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich — Jakari Robertson, 17, has been arrested in the shooting death of a man at a hotel in Muskegon Heights on June 15.
Muskegon Heights Police Chief Joseph Thomas confirmed to FOX 17 that Robertson was apprehended by his officers and federal agents.
Police were called to the Clarion Inn on Seaway Drive in Muskegon Heights around 11:30 a.m. June 15 to find a man shot in the chest and face. He died later at the hospital.
The victim’s identity has not been made public but has been described as being a male in his late teens or early 20s.
For now, Jakari is jailed on a weapons offense, but Chief Thomas said Jakari is a suspect in the homicide.
