Fennville High School’s band received a noisy sendoff Thursday morning as they left for their performance at the Michigan Music Conference.
The city’s police and fire departments escorted the school buses out of town as they headed to Grand Rapids to prepare for the Friday morning show. Fennville schools say playing in the Michigan Music Conference is an honor for the best musicians in the state.
Fennville will play at 8 a.m. at DeVos Performance Hall.
