WAYLAND, Mich. — One man died after a crash Tuesday night in Wayland.
State Police say 58-year-old Chad Cole from Middleville was on 4th Street and did not stop at the intersection with 135th Avenue.
His pick-up truck was hit by a Ford Taurus. Cole was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 45-year-old driver in the other car was treated at the scene and released.
State Police say it is not clear why Cole did not stop at the intersection. 4th Street has stop signs at 135th Avenue.
