KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A pair of shootings in one day on the same block have police looking for who is responsible.
On Tuesday, June 23, several homes on Cadillac St. between Hawley St. and Douglas Ave. were hit by gunfire, according to Kalamazoo Public Safety.
The first rounds came just after 3 a.m. when one house and a car were shot.
Then just before 10 a.m. several homes were hit.
No one was injured or killed in either shooting, but investigators say the lives of innocent people in the area were at risk.
Police are also investigating a shots fire report from the same day near the area of Hopkins St. and North Burdick St. Investigators say nothing was hit when shots rang out around 2:30 pm.
