Missing Kalamazoo teen found

Update published on 7/10/2020: Kalamazoo Township P.D. detectives received assistance from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, as Smith was believed to be in Oshtemo Township.

Deputies found Smith in 2200 of S. 11th Street in Oshtemo Township. Arianna was unharmed and reunited with her mother.

This case remains under investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Township of Kalamazoo Police Department at 269-381-0391 or Silent Observer at 269-343-2100.

The Kalamazoo Police Department (KPD) is searching for a missing teen, who was last seen on July 2 in the 2000 block of Gull Road, Kalamazoo.

Arianna Marie Smith (pictured above), is a 16-year-old, bi-racial female, 5’8”, 115 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes. Arianna was last seen with long, multicolored braided hair

Smith was reported as a runaway on May 11, 2020, being that she was a teenager missing for at least three days.

Her mother reported to Kalamazoo officers that Smith suffers from medical and mental health conditions, and is requesting assistance in locating her.

KPD believes that Smith is staying somewhere in the area of the 2000 block of Gull Road.

On July 2, she was seen leaving the area of Big Bend Apartments and heading towards New Horizon Village on Gull Road.
