Kalamazoo officers investigating crash that left pedestrian injured

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Officers with Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety are currently investigating a Monday night crash that left one pedestrian injured.

The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, at the intersection of Mills Street and Kings Highway.

Officers arrived and started providing treatment to an 18-year-old Kalamazoo woman, who was lying in the intersection after being hit by a car.

She was transported to Bronson Hospital for minor, non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation for this crash is ongoing. At this time, alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
