GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The suspect in two murders committed just hours apart admitted to the crimes earlier this month.

Court records show George Yzaguirre pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Ed Fuller and David Isner Jr.

Yzaguirre killed the two men last Thanksgiving. The 36-year-old waited for his roommate, Isner, to fall asleep before stabbing him multiple times. Yzaguirre then went to Pinegate Mobile Village to rob Fuller, killing him in the process. Yzaguirre was spotted on surveillance video trying to use Fuller's credit card at several stores after the murders.

As part of the plea, a charge of armed robbery was dropped.

Yzaguirre is scheduled to be sentenced on September 3rd. He faces up to life in prison without parole.
