WYOMING, Mich. — The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has suspended the license for a child care home located at 2256 Avon Avenue in Wyoming.

Reasons cited for the suspension involve supervision and care, according to LARA.

We’re told an investigation was conducted on Jan. 21 following a complaint and that authorities subsequently uncovered violations of the Child Care Organizations Act.

LARA says the operator of the home is prohibited from running another child care operation at that or any other location, adding that parents of children in her care must be notified by the licensee that she is no longer permitted to offer child care.
