LOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police identified Todd Bertee as the victim of Wednesday's fatal crashon I-96 after Alden Nash Avenue.
The 33 year-old Dewitt man hit the back of a box truck that had slowed for traffic backups from another crash near Whitneyville Avenue. Bertee was the only one in the SUV he was driving, and the driver of the box truck was alone as well and not hurt in the crash.
