LOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A crash on westbound I-96 after Alden Nash Avenue left one person dead Wednesday morning.
The crash involved two vehicles, one an SUV and one was a box truck.
Michigan State Police are investigating, and I-96 westbound was closed at Alden Nash during the investigation.
Traffic was already backed up on that stretch of highway due to a semi rollover on westbound I-96 in the early morning hours at Whitneyville Avenue.
