GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A child was hit by a car in Grand Rapids Friday night, according to an official with GRPD.
It happened near Oakdale St. SE and Union Ave. SE around 8:20 p.m.
According to the official, the child was alert and conscious when taken to the hospital but severity of the injuries was not shared.
It happened in the street but details of the collision are not clear. The car and driver involved stayed on scene.
