GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police report two shootings Wednesday night. In one, a house was hit by five bullets.
The house in the 3900 block of Camelot Drive SE was hit around 10:24 p.m. Someone reported to police that they heard eight gunshots, and indeed police found eight shell casings. A vehicle outside the residence was also hit once. No one was injured, and GRPD did not indicate whether suspects had been identified.
In an earlier shooting, one witness claimed a group stood over someone in the 1300 block of McReynolds Avenue NW near Leonard and Alpine and fired directly at them, but no victim was found nor evidence of any injuries. A shell casing was found. Police have no suspect nor vehicle information.
