GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) have confirmed with Fox 17 that a local restaurant and a cell phone store were broken into early Sunday mornings.
The break-ins started around 3:30 a.m., as the front window of the Electric Cheetah (1015 Wealthy St. SE) was smashed, along with the cash register being stolen
GRPD said it is unclear how forced entry was made into the restaurant.
Less than a half hour after the restaurant was broken into, Boost Mobile on S Division Ave was broken into, with merchandise taken from the store.
There is no suspect information available at this time in either incident.
It is unclear if these two incidents are related to one another.
