GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The spread of the coronavirus in Kent County is likely more extensive than it appears now.
Coronavirus is "much wider than thought previously," Steve Kelso, a spokesperson for the Kent County Health Department, told FOX 17 this morning.
This doesn’t necessarily mean the county expects a bunch more confirmed cases, he said.
There are currently three confirmed cases in Kent County.
He added that this isn’t a panicking, “It’s spreading quicker.” It’s more so that they have known and still know that there are more cases than what are being tested and confirmed.
The county's goal is to “slow the spread of the virus.”
