KALAMAZOO, Mich. — With guidelines from the government shutting down dine-in options, restaurants and bars are hoping to stay afloat by offering to-go, delivery and curbside pickup services.

A special event is being promoted in an effort to drive traffic to local restaurants offering to-go services in the Kalamazoo area. It's called Saturday Night In.

Whether it's a Saturday date night, family dinner or drinks with friends, customers are asked to share photos or videos of them enjoying the food and drink they've ordered on social media channels, using the hashtags #SaturdayNightInKzoo and #VirtualKzoo.

A list of restaurants offering takeout and/or delivery in the Kalamazoo area can be found here.

Support can also be given by purchasing a gift card for later use. More information is on Downtown Kalamazoo's COVID-19 web page.
