PAW PAW, Mich. — Paw Paw Public Schools has created a new communication tool to help parents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Parent Chats” is a series of chat sessions that aim to guide parents through the various challenges presented by virtual learning and other changes that have occurred within the past year, according to Director of Curriculum & Instruction Corey Harbaugh.

"Each Parent Chat session has both a presentation section about a topic such as how to handle anxiety, and then a chance for parents to ask questions and talk with one another about the topic," says Harbaugh. "With this approach we are providing information and resources, but also creating a community where parents can talk about the issues families face each day."
