KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Another health system in West Michigan is set to start administering doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine to employees.

Bronson Methodist Hospital tells FOX 17 that it will begin vaccinating staff members Thursday afternoon.

The health group received 1,950 doses from Pfizer this week.

Ascension Health Group also plans to begin vaccinations Thursday for employees at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.

Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids was the first health system in West Michigan to rollout the vaccine on Monday.

Pfizer started distributing the vaccine on Sunday, with thousands of doses being flown out of Gerald R. Ford International Airport the same day.
