Many don't think twice about putting a helmet on when they ride a bike, but that's not exactly the case when it comes to skiing. A push is on by the Brain Injury Association of Michigan to encourage kids and adults to do so with their Think Ahead campaign called Wear a Helmet, Save Your Brain.
FOX17 Morning Mix host Todd Chance headed to Caberfae to meet up with the BIAMI. That resort along 34 others in Michigan, are rewarding kids wearing a ski helmet with a free McDonald's hot cocoa coupon. If people are seen without a helmet, they are given a coupon for 20 percent off one at various retailers.
